COVID-19 Updates for Clem Jones Centre Physio + Rehab

During these most extraordinary times, our patient’s care needs remain our central focus and we’re putting strategies in place to ensure continuity of service. To this end, and following all directives from Federal and State governments, Queensland Health and Australian Physiotherapy Association, we will remain OPEN for the foreseeable future. Currently, the situation remains very fluid and we understand circumstances could change pending further announcements. This page will be updated as news comes to hand. 

The following procedures have been put in place at our clinic to ensure our clients, staff and community remain safe and healthy during this time.

We also have telehealth options available for our patients who require ongoing support, but are unable to make it to the clinic. If you are interested in understanding more about these services, please contact us for further information.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Reception seating will be spaced and we ask that you do not sit directly next to, or across from, other patients.

  • It is the preference of the clinic that all payments be made by card (payWave) at this time.

  • Hands on treatment will be kept to essential needs only, and social distancing measures will be put in place for all services where possible.

  • We have exclusive access to 500m2 of clinic and gym space, ensuring distance between staff and patients can be upheld.

HYGIENE

As health professionals we are hyper vigilant with hygiene and patient screening.

  • We ask that if you are unwell, please do not attend the clinic. Our staff will also be following these guidelines.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available at reception and in all treatment rooms. A hand washing station is also provided and all patients are encouraged to utilise both on entering and existing the clinic

  • All areas of the clinic will be maintained with the highest cleaning and sanitisation standards
