Dr Melinda Smith, Mel Smith, APA Sports and musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Clem Jones Centre Physio and Rehab, Brisbane

Melinda is a musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist providing services for the general community through to elite athletes. With a doctorate and degree in physiotherapy, alongside multiple published research articles, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the profession and our clinic.

Melinda contributed to the establishment of the School of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Physiotherapy program at the Australian Catholic University, and went on to become a lecturer and team leader for the musculoskeletal courses in the program.

As a well respected leader in the physiotherapy community, she has published research articles, and been invited to speak at National and International conferences.

Alongside her time in our clinic, Melinda is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.
